By accessing or using DealClause.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2Description of Service
DealClause provides freelancer protection tools:
Trust Database - User-submitted reviews and ratings of clients, companies, and employers
Contract Tools - AI-powered contract generation and review
E-Signature - Electronic signature collection and contract execution
Community Feed - Anonymous stories and discussions about freelance work experiences
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
3User Accounts & Registration
3.1 Account Requirements
To use certain features, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide a valid email address
- Maintain accurate account information
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials, all activity under your account, and notifying us immediately of unauthorized access.
3.3 One Account Per Person
Creating multiple accounts to circumvent credit limits or verification requirements is prohibited and will result in immediate termination.
4Credit System
4.1 Free Credits
Free tier users receive 3 credits per month. Credits reset on the same date each month, do not roll over, and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.

4.3 No Refunds
Except as required by law, all payments are final and non-refundable.
4.4 Beta Tester Offer - Pro Tier
Eligibility: This offer is available exclusively to users who joined the waitlist before [Launch Date] and received an invitation code.
Beta Tester Queue: This complimentary Pro tier offer is limited to the first 100 beta testers. Once the first 100 beta testers have been invited, we will extend free offers to up to 1,000 additional users on a first-come, first-served basis.
Offer Terms:
- First 100 Beta Testers: Complimentary Pro tier membership for one (1) year from the date of account activation. Pro tier includes approximately 30 contract reviews per month.
- Extended Queue (users 101-1000): Complimentary Pro tier membership for one (1) year, subject to availability and at our sole discretion.
Service Continuity: This offer is contingent upon DealClause continuing to operate its services and maintaining the financial capacity to provide Pro tier benefits. DealClause reserves the right to modify or discontinue this offer with thirty (30) days written notice to affected users.
Post-Offer Terms: Upon expiration or discontinuation of this offer, users may:
(a) Continue with a free tier account with limited features (3 contract reviews/month, 3 credits/month), or
(b) Subscribe to Pro or Partner at the standard subscription rate then in effect.
No Transfer: This offer is non-transferable and tied to the original recipient's account.
Tracking: DealClause will maintain a queue count of beta tester invitations. The first 100 invitations receive automatic Pro tier approval. Invitations 101-1000 are subject to administrative approval and availability.
Partner Tier: The unlimited Partner tier is not included in this beta offer and will be available at a separate price point when launched.
5User-Generated Content
5.1 Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for any content you submit, including reviews, comments, and stories.
5.2 Prohibited Content
You agree NOT to submit content that is defamatory, harassing, contains private information, discriminatory, unrelated to work experience, or illegal.
5.3 Verification Tiers

DealClause does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted reviews. All reviews represent the opinions of individual users only.
6Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
6.1 No Legal Advice
DealClause does not provide legal advice. Our contract tools and reviews are for informational purposes only. You should consult with a qualified attorney before signing any legally binding document.
6.2 No Warranty
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
6.3 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DealClause shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
7DMCA & Copyright
If you believe content on DealClause infringes your copyright, send a notice to legal@dealclause.com. We respond within 24-48 business hours.
8Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to:
- Create multiple accounts or use bots
- Scrape data or resell access
- Harass users or submit spam
- Submit fake reviews or coordinate review bombing
9Electronic Signatures
By using our e-signature feature, you consent to conduct business electronically and use electronic signatures as legally binding under the ESIGN Act.
10AI-Powered Features
Our contract tools use AI which can make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before use. Using our AI tools does not create an attorney-client relationship.
11Privacy
Our Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference. We do not sell your personal data.
12Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
13Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via Settings.
14Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. For US users, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration.
